“Love is merely a madness, and, I tell you,
deserves as well a dark house and a whip as madmen do;
and the reason why they are not so punished and cured is,
that the lunacy is so ordinary curing it by counsel.”
(III. ii. 387 - 391)

Random topic I know but after today's little activity during religion class i was dying to update this somehow. On to my topic, I was trying to do my English homework then I stopped and realized it make sense. Rosalind talks of how love is some kind of trap and anyone that is drawn into is becomes someone that they never really were. The fact that they are in love has completely changed them, as they become a person that revolves everything around that certain individual. In some cases the person becomes completely different, changes their whole being just to be with that one person, just to make them happy. As if that is what love is really about? Hey I’m no genius but when you’re in love with someone shouldn’t you love them for who they really are and not something that you want them to be. For if you try to change everything about that person you are just trying to fall in love with something that is fake and unreal. For you are creating a false image of the person you have said to love. Change can be small but very effective towards a relationship. Do I fall under the category of being a hypocrite for asking my boyfriend to stop doing something for his own well being? Telling him to do something not only for me but for himself too? If so then I will gladly take on the title “hypocrite”. For if that is what it takes for him to be his one hundred percent then so be it. In other terms Rosalind says why don’t we prevent this hurt from happening? For a life lived without love, is a life not lived at all. Just as God loved us so much that he sacrificed his son for the lives of us sinners. God wants us to love for it is a part of life, and the trials and trouble we encounter are just little things that we can learn and grow from. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. As you take those words to heart you will come to realize that love is an important part of who you are and who you have become. I don’t know just a brain SPLOOOSHHH for me.

One again I’ll update in a while.
