OVO
So--- Thanksgiving went well- long and hard and busy but no injuries and all was tasty- saw my family and worked a lot at my folks house on the gathering- we were small this year- only 35 I think... Less than usual. Briefly stopped at Rob's folks place- he was there longer- I was there an hour to talk while they ate.
Friday slept half the day then had a few friends over to see a friend from out of town- that was fun- late night but a good one. Funny- R and I realized that 'our' last three parties were other peoples since our house is a good place for out of town gatherings... I think we won't have a big one of our own until spring or whenever R has been working long enough to feel ahead again. It's been sort of sporadic lately and we're a little tight on funds-
Saturday slept late and then went to see Cirque de Soleil Ovo- which R won tickets to a few weeks back- Wonderful show- wonderful costumes- not as death defying as some- but great- plus there was a question and answer period afterwards with some of the performers and directors and that was great.
Sunday ran errands- mostly rabbit based. The foster bunny chewed pillows and other stuff recently so I sewed some pillows and bought some new ones and got a new phone charger and that was a pain- this is the second bunny destroyed phone charger I've had to replace- sigh- picked up some bitter apple spray as well to try to keep her from chewing the couch. sigh. We'll have to return her soon- I hope Elvis doesn't go into a depression. I'd like to have someone take her for a couple of days and see how it affects him- but that is sort of hard to organize.
I've been renting and watching Twin Peaks again. It's been a long time. Still fascinating. And its nice to watch it all in a row- well, except for the couple of days I have to wait between netflix deliveries... An odd thing to be excited about- but all the same.
