I'm not sure what's happening. There's less than a month left of marching band. And I'm not sure what we're doing.
I'm trying really hard to like Mr. Gardiner. He infuriates me though. He talked yesterday about focus and that's all we need to do well, and then right before going on he tells this random, not really inspirational story and got everyone confused. And then we marched onto the field and you could tell that no one was focused. Right before we went on though, he looked at me and said "I don't really know how to tell an inspirational story."
And he also added a bunch of random stuff at practice on Friday. Instead of cleaning what was messed up. I'm not into gimmicky stuff. And I'm not into obscure kind of shows that don't entertain anyone.
Chesapeake played La Nouba. It was AMAZING. They deserved to kick our butts.
