stoked
So I'm totally excited right now because Shelley is coming to visit me in October and today we bought our Avenue Q tickets. Awesome, right? Yes. We are two rows from the stage and I am so stoked. Seriously it's gonna be awesome. Poor Sally and Danielle were like my rough-draft guests. Granted I only knew they were coming like a month in advance, but we're gonna be set. Anyway, I was just really happy about that cause like I really wanna see Avenue Q and yeah, it's gonna be great. I also just like... talked to Shelley for a few hours tonight (err... since like 5:30 til about 20 mins ago...) and it was awesome. I totally missed the great talks I used to have with people here.
Other than that, work is going fantastically. I seriously love my job, I love my co-workers, right now my class is super easy to manage and it's going great. I love coaching cause it's so cool to like help kids get better, you know? I'm one of those sappy "it's so rewarding to watch people grow" types cause I totally think it is rewarding to teach them and see them get better. Plus I like to give back what people gave to me. Word. Plus I get to chill in my glass bottomed inflatable (yeah, you heard right- though so far I have seen no marine life through the glass bottom) and eat sunflower seeds and hang out with Dave. And our boss bought us candy. Yeah... I can't believe I get paid for this...
On the other hand, the fact that the castillo freeway underpass is closed is kind of ruining my summer. I have to drive to Las Pos (it's the quickest way) to get on the freeway at the end of the day. Ridiculous. Other than that I've been riding my bike a fair amount, which is cool, I'm hoping that I'm in better shape already and I will be more than able to keep up with my freshman on COBOP. So yeah, I'm just truckin, havin a great time. Though there's still some shady characters I need to hang out with. Hmm... if only I weren't so lazy, I might call them...
