my manager told me that a good way to get promoted is to get my store involved within the community. everyday at least one customer comes in chatting about certain community events. perhaps it's my age, but when i try to include myself in such conversations, i get shunned horribly. these gung ho parky types dont like to chat me, i guess. today, however, i had a breakthrough. i chatted this nice lady on my way home from work. we chatted about working and living in georgetown...she's a really nice lady. she also happens to be the town hooker who has taken a liking to screwing her clients behind our store. finally, i feel involved in the community. i can't wait to tell my boss. i think there's definitely a promotion for me!! :D
