First day of school today, which means my summer is officially over. School really wasn't that bad. Yes, i may be extremely annoyed with some teachers and other students already, but my classes seem okay. Combined Math may be a little too easy for me.
I mean, Calc vs. Combined Math...come on. I am ready for Calc, i just don't need it for the fields i am considering. If i switch, it better be soon.
Anyways, Essential Living and Accouting are going to be the best. I have a lot of different people in my classes, ones that i don't usually talk to, and i like that. I hate when things get cliquey...so that its impossible to talk to and get to know new people. Oh, and it feels like our grade got a lot smaller. I know a lot of people have already started dual enrolling, Co-oping, and everything...but it seriously feels like there are half as many people.
Well, i have band tonight. I thought it was TOMORROW night so i took the night off for work. I hate when my schedules get messed up...i'm always afraid i'm going to accidentally not go to either of my jobs, poms, band. I have a huge calendar that is pretty much filled, but i think i need to pick up a planner.
I also had a spectacular weekend:
**Friday, our football team played Clare and won 20-0. Football games are pretty eventful as a pom b.c. we have to run back and forth between pom and band practices, sell raffle tickets, do the half time show for poms and band, etc. Its a good time though. After the game the Laframboise and Montbriand parents, as well as my parents, went out to Pizza Hut. Adam (Lafram), Marla (Mont), and I joined them later. I had soo much fun with those two- we had some good laughs together. After, I picked out "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" for us 3 to watch @ Marla's house, but i fell asleep. hahaha.
**Saturday was our promotional party for our new birthday parties @ Kokomos. I went around doing magic tricks and making balloon animals. It was "alright".
Kaleigh has mono so i went over to her to do some magic tricks and balloon animals to cheer her up. Then, the Heritage boys came over for a bit. Marla ended up spending the night @ my house and we did some pampering. Oh yes- complete facials w/ cucumbers!, manicures, pedicures, candles, music..everything! It was really relaxing, but we were super tired and by the end of the night we were acting so stupid and giggly.
**Sunday i went to church and then we all met up @ the food court. Its tradition.
Then i had to work @ Island View. Things were rough at first, but we worked things out i think.
Well, i have to go and amend my schedule, have my mom sign all my syllabuses, and then fill up on gas. Thom says that its going to go over $3 b.c. a lot of our oil refineries are going to be hit by Hurricane Katrina. I'll take Thom's word for it- he's a smart guy.
