(no subject)
Wow. I definitely made up for the laziness of yesterday.
-poms 6-8 (had to leave early)
-orthdontist appt.
-visited grandparents
-picked up my check from Bayou
-went home to get license
-cashed check
-ran
...this was all before 10 o'clock!
-took a nap
-cleaned for 3 hours (the house looks amazing now)
-pizza w/ Allie
-band
-grandma rosie
-baked a cake
-watched "Matchstick Men" with Jeff
The highlight of my day was when i visited my grandma and grandpa Seager. Even though they only live in Shields, i don't get to see them very much anymore. I guess after losing my grandpa Langley last year, i realized how important time with family is. I sat in the living room and talked with my G & G Seager for over an hour just talking about school, poms, boys, God, my dad's marriage, their marriage, and everything else. It was a really nice talk. Plus, my grandpa showed me some family pictures from the 40's, 50's, and 60's. There was one picture in particular that i absolutely loved- it was of my grandma being escorted by her father out of their home right before her wedding. She looked so gorgeous! Grandpa says she was a "hot dish."
hahah. Oh Ronald and Gwendolyn! They're such great people.
well, orientation is tomorrow. Since i'm on student council i guess im supposed to help out, but no one called me about it. Hmm. i guess ill worry about that when it comes.
