Wow.com has a new roleplaying article up today that discusses different places in-game to find improv RP. While talking about Goldshire, it says:
On the negative side, this makes Goldshire where you're most likely to find Illidan's illegitmate son (by Maiev, of course), who's killed Arthas single-handedly.
Maeldan would like to state for the record that:
A.) He doesn't spend much time in Goldshire at all.
B.) He's never even met Arthas, much less killed him.
C.) He's not so stupid as to go around explaining his dubious parentage to people he barely knows.
*grin*

On a related note, I bribed enough random, unguilded strangers to sign a guild charter, so Maeldan now has the guild tag "Stormshadow" (a.k.a. his surname in my fics) floating over his head. ^_^
I had toyed with "Exalted with the Illidari" but that didn't fit and this is better. I've always been way too amused by the idea of a guild called "is awesome," though. So you'd see Bob < is awesome > above the character's head.
