Moving Day for Goldfish

I started out my career as a fish mommy with a one-gallon hex aquarium on the kitchen counter in September 2001. Since then I've had 2.5-gallon, 5.5-gallon, 10-gallon, 25-gallon and 37-gallon tanks. Cute :) Congrats on your new tank and congrats to the fishies on their new home! I was glad to attend their open house. Please pass along my own thanks for them letting me attend. ;)

I'm always astounded by how big and beautiful your fish get- I still think of "goldfish" as the small little guys I see at Pets Unlimited, who have nothing on your goldies. I'm sure bigger Benny & Minnie will adjust to smaller Shelly (and vise versa!) in no time.

The new tank looks great!

Exactly! Ugh...my old roommate had one of those things. Started off the size of a thumb, and then all the other fish started disappearing. It eventually turned into THAT monstrosity (it's an Oscar, by the way).

Not fun fish either, except they're so big that when you feed them you can hear them *crunching*...eeee!

ARGH! Crunching? That's horrible!!! I know they eat goldfish and other things, but that's awful!

I could never own a pet that ate live prey. Screw the food chain! ;D
