When I made this icon four years ago, "January 20th, 2009" seemed soooo far away, but we're finally preparing for Shrub removal from Washington. Hooray!
I'll have more to say about Obama's inauguration next week, but for now I'll link to an awesome video on YouTube that's been making the rounds lately. It's a four-minute sequence morphing pictures of George Washington to John Adams, to Thomas Jefferson, etc, all the way through Obama. It's very well done, and it really drives home the point that we've had 43 old white guys in a row. (Nothing wrong with being an old white guy, I love my dad, after all.) ;)
