Hehe, Rush roxxorz

There's a new interview with Geoffrey Rush, as described in this article.
Some choice quotes below...

"The critics came down quite hard on the second film saying it was too long and too complicated, but I think that's selling the audience short," Rush said.
"It's the intricacies of the plot which make this such a good set of films."

"I know my own kids and their peer group, they will sit for five hours playing war craft games, role-playing, they have great imaginations and love the intricacies of the sub-plots, the red herrings and the dead ends. It's one big subconcious lesson in narrative," said Rush.

"I often get on the chat rooms to see what the fans are talking about and what sort of plots they are coming up with based on the previews. What they write is very impressive, and shows they really understand and appreciate the effort that goes into them."

Three things that made me squee:
1. Geoffrey Rush's kids play Warcraft! XD
2. Movie #3 has lots of goodies for those of us who like to dissect the plot in minute detail.
3. Rush lurks online in the fandom sometimes! That's awesome.

On an only slightly related note, I made my first foray into Karazhan in WoW last night. We died a lot (had to run out twice for repairs) but we downed Maiden of Virtue and the Big Bad Wolf.
For some odd reason the Wolf never turned Skarlette into Red Riding Hood. Not once! We had to try at least five or six times before we killed him, and other people got Hooded multiple times in the same fight, but there was no Little Skarlette Riding Hood. Oh well, not complaining. ;)

No mage lewtz, but it was a fun time, and my first real post-TBC raiding experience. ^_^

Off to work now. Joy.

warcraft - general, warcraft - raiding, pirates of the caribbean
