It's been way, WAY too long since I updated my goldfish and betta galleries.
My website is still extremely outdated and non-updated, but here are some new photos I just uploaded. Hopefully I'll get these on my site at some point before the next decade passes...

And, introducing my newest baby, Oliver Crowntail. You can call him Ollie. He's a crowntail betta, as opposed to the veiltail (a.k.a. pet store mutt) variety that I've always had before. He cost $7, about twice what I normally pay for bettas. But he was the smallest (youngest) and cutest one they had.
I got him at PetCo on Thursday, March 29. He hung out in a vase on my desk until I got Prince's old tank stripped, cleaned, and fitted up with new gravel and plants. I re-used the stump, the Roman columns, and a couple of the plants. Otherwise everything is new. I plopped him into his new home this afternoon and he hasn't stopped swimming around, exploring everything and playing "Where Do I Fit?" since. He's very curious and so far seems pretty friendly.
So once again I'm sharing bedroom with a betta. ^_^
