Blackwing Lair FTW
(Warcraft geekery ahead...ignore if you're not a WoW player.)
I got my first real taste of BWL tonight! They had already taken down Razorgore and Vael the other day so we started with the Suppression Room. Wow! That's got to be the most intense WoW experience I've had in a very long time. So much AOE, so many different whelps...so much going on! It was a blast. I died a lot, but it was fun. We got the Broodlord down on our first try, which is amazing. Firemaw was significantly less cooperative, however. >_< Oh well, we still kicked arse. Maybe next time we can get Firemaw down.
By the end of the night my armor was all yellow or red, and my backup/FR gear was pretty shot, too. Cost me about 10g to repair. But it was still awesome. ^_^
Oh, and before BWL we got Onyxia down on the first attempt, and I finally won an 18-slot backpack! Woo-hoo! :D
So it was a good night for Skarlette, not such a good night for Obsidia's family. *grin*
After BWL I logged for awhile, took a shower, unwound, etc, then messed around with Vacanahwe a little bit. She's level 19 already. They grow up so fast! *sniff*
The only other news of any import to record is, of course, the fifth anniversary of 9/11. Mom and I watched a lot of TV. On one hand it seems like a lifetime ago that happened, and on the other hand it's hard to believe it ever happened at all. :\
Anyway, it's insanely late so I'm off to bed now. *waves at all the lovely people out there in Internet land*
