Steve Irwin of "Crocodile Hunter" fame was killed today by a stingray in the Great Barrier Reef. He was only 44 years old and leaves his wife and two small children.
I'm just stunned! I loved that guy on TV. He was so lovably goofy. Sure, he took insane risks for the hell of it, but I never in a million years thought he'd actually DIE because of them. I'm just...I don't know what to say! I can't believe it. It's one of those punched-in-the-gut feelings. I mean...Steve Irwin! Croikey! That's horrible! :(
