LFM MC!
I was reading the WoW forums and people were talking about things that just knocked them over with the awesomeness the first time they saw them in the game.
Reminded me of a total n00b moment I had when I was still learning the game.
You know that big round pit of red-hot coals in Ironforge, near the gnome area, in front of the big military center where you queue for PVP? I thought that was the portal to Molten Core.
I thought after you got attuned you could somehow zoom down through that spot to Molten Core. I guess I thought that partly because a lot of the uber-geared players would hang around there waiting for battlegrounds to pop, so there was usually a bunch of impressive-looking 60s with glowing weapons and fancy armor and such loitering around there.
I figured they were massing up for a MC raid, and I thought how cool it was that the top dungeon in the game could be reached from right there in the city, as a sort of reward for all those times you have to go to the middle of nowhere (*coughcoughDireMaulcoughcough*) to do an instance.
Come to think of it, I wish that was the case. *snerk* Would be mightly darn convenient and I wouldn't have to freak out over lag on the Molten Span. I *always* lag on that stupid chain bridge, and I've never fallen into the lava because of it but I'm always afraid. ^_^;
