I just got back from the movie, and am so psyched! I'd see it again for certain, were it not for the time and money involved. *So* going to buy this puppy for DVD, maybe as a three pack with the first (own it on VHS) and the third, since now we all know there's so gonna be a follow up!

In agreement with everything you wrote. The comedy split my sides, the characters continue to develop even further into interesting chess pieces. Elizabeth kicked-arse, a feet considering I didn't care for her in 1#, Norrington was amazing and Jack.... I don't know about *eating* him, but yeah, with Depp he *is* a god. ;-D

Of course, I kinda want to wring their necks for that ending, since now I'm still on the tip of my seat! Curse you Barbossa! Curse you in a way only fangirls can!

B.T.W- was there anything after the credits? The massive stampede of Korean movie-goers (who couldn't understand them) meant I couldn't stay to the ultimate end.

Overall a terrific movie, and I have high hopes for the sequel. I have, however, only one true question:

Where the heck was Anamaria? Odd that they never so much as mentioned her. o_O

Actually, the problem in a Korean screening is that you *can't*... last time I tried (X-3) they cut half last the dialog! Possibly it would be better if they gave the credits in Korean subtext as they do for the rest of the flick. I won't mind any hints to what I missed though.. **puppy eyes**

Curious if there 'll be a dog reference from PotC3. I was surprised he made it into 2#, but he did a great (and simple) job of explaining the return of Pintel and Ragetti.

Yeah, it really wasn't even worth watching alllllll those credits. Just the dog on the throne, really.
