Skarlette and her guild, Valiant Souls, entered the troll stronghold of Zul'Gurub tonight and defeated the Soulflayer himself, Hakkar!
Only the second time I'd faced him. Last time we quit after three wipes. Tonight we wiped once and then took him down on the second try with (I think) only one death. Maybe two, but I stayed alive, so whatever. ;)
And guess who won the roll for the Heart of Hakkar? The quest item that gives you an awesome epic trinket? Just a certain li'l fire mage with her lucky Murky at her side! :D ZOMG EPIX!!!11 ;)
The guild leaders asked me not to hand it in until just before our next run into ZG, as the buff associated with the hand-in gives very nice stat boosts to everyone in Stranglethorn Vale, a handy advantage for the raid. So I'll have to wait until next weekend to get my PHAT LEWTZ, but I won the heart! WOOT!!
