Ooooooooooh! :D
I just discovered another absolutely AWESOME feature on my new computer. There's a sliding door on the front of the computer tower that hides a number of access ports for USB, headphones, microphone, etc--which is a fairly common feature. BUT I just found out it has a Smart Media reader slot in there!
I no longer have to take the Smart Media chip out of my digital camera, put it into the SanDisk adapter (looks like a silver floppy disk), but the adapter into the floppy drive, and then spend 2-3 minutes waiting for the computer to copy and paste the images from the disk onto the hard drive.
Now I just take out the Smart Media, slide it into the little slot on the front of the computer, and POOF! A window pops up showing thumbnails of all the images on the card. And this sucker is so fast it look like 15 seconds to copy and paste the images onto the hard drive.
OMG, I'm in lurrrrrrrve! XD
I guess I should have figured it had something like that, seeing as how it has no floppy drive. o_0 I wouldn't have had a slot to put the old SanDisk adapter into, anyway. Doh.
Expect new fishie photos later. ^_^
