Stupid universe...
I was bound and determined to stay in a good mood today, and I basically succeeded, no thanks to the universe. It was a dark, windy, rainy, yucky day. I had to work. I twisted my ankle within three minutes of walking in the door. Clutzy me was scurrying around a corner and out a door at the same time, and in reaching behind me to close the door, my left ankle buckled under me. I heard it crack. >_< It hurt for like 20 minutes and then felt pretty normal until about five minutes ago. Now it's sore again. :-p
Then I looked in the drawer in the reference desk for the keys to Special Collections, twice, and still couldn't find them. Finally I mentioned it to Melanie, and she looked, and the keys were right there. Doh! *smacks forehead* The distinctive orange keychain thing was hidden under some other stuff, so it wasn't completely my stupidity, but still... Tsk. Then I went to use the photocopier in the circulation workroom, and it jammed up four times! That copier almost never jams! Arg! So I went upstairs to administration and used the machine up there. Just one annoyance after another, all afternoon. Nothing major, just little irritants. :-p
Anyway, I more or less managed to keep my good mood, despite the series of minor sucky things.
After work my mom and aunt picked me up, and after ditzing with Neopets for awhile we had barbeques and tater tots for supper. I ♥ tater tots! ^_^
So...yeah. My fascinating day. ;)
