Deb might have a broadtail Ryukin for me! (A couple of pictures at the link.) She's still trying to catch her out of the pond so she can get better pictures and examine her better, but it's a good first candidate, anyway! :D

Can feeders get big? The guy at the store said they wouldn't, but I don't know how much he knew :| Of course my tank isn't big enough for him to get very big really.
He's very cute and he eats a TON, I keep increasing his food little by little and he *still* looks around for more when he's done :D
Goldfish almost ALWAYS look for more when you've given them their food. Don't be fooled by their pleading little eyes! LOL!
And yes, some feeders can get huge if they're given good conditions. Unfortunately they're kept in such awful conditions before being purchased that many have health problems and short lives. They're not intended to live past purchase since they're "supposed" to be eaten by Oscars or whatever. :\ All the sellers care about it keeping them alive long enough to be eaten. >_< Some feeders can live for years, though. In fact, www.goldfishconnection.com talks about Mr. Fish, a carnival prize who's lived DECADES! O_O So it varies widely by fish. ;)
