Mocking the stupid
My aunt told me about this priceless bit of stupidity. She worked as a waitress and restaurant manager for years, and encountered numerous marvellous instances of idiocy from both customers and employees.
It seems there was a teenage girl working her first shift as a waitress. She took an order from a table and brought it back to my aunt in the kitchen. My aunt did a double-take at the slip.
The customers had ordered, among other things, filet mignon and a ribeye steak. The waitress had written this as:
"flaming young" and a "rabbi steak."
This was over ten years ago and my aunt still has that order slip. It was too good to throw away. XD
