Good things, bad things
Good things:
1. It's a gorgeous, sunny day and the leaves are near peak.
2. I cleaned both fish tanks last night and now they're both sparkling and beautiful.
3. I updated the Goldie Galleries again because a pair of very nice Italian Disney comics fans sent me some more scans! Woot! ^_^ One was responding to a request I posted for something specific, the other just sent some stuff I didn't even know existed, out of the blue!
Bad things:
1. Grandma fell again yesterday morning. She was going to greet the mailman at the door and just went down. Her glasses cut the side of her head, which is now all swelled up, and at first we thought she might have fractured her shoulder. The hospice nurse came over, examined her, and told Mom to take her to E.R. for X-rays. The X-rays showed no fractures, just pulled muscles and bruising, but she's miserable nonetheless. And Mom is a mess. So...yeah. It goes in good and bad cycles, it seems, and the very good cycle we've been having is apparently over. >_< *sigh* :(
2. I had an awful dream night before last about all my fish dying. That sucked.
3. Mom's cold settled into her lungs now and she's been coughing just terribly since Friday.
Do the good things balance out the bad things? No. Afraid not.
Well, I have to go get something to eat and get to work (thus breaking the Sabbath, but tell that to my boss) so I'll shut up now. :-p
