cvs bought out all the eckerds in houston. so they had a 'grand opening' sale.
in the circular: coupons for $5 off $10 $3 off any CVS brand product $2 off a greeting card
and they would let you count the CVS product and the greeting card as part of the ten dollar purchase.
my mom collected a crapload of circulars, and we went to a bunch of cvs, multiple times, and each checked out with 10-12 dollars worth of stuff. (she and my dad did a lot of trips before i got home, but i've been doing them since i arrived.)
do it enough times, and it adds up to 550 dollars off.
I'll be arriving in Houston on Tuesday. Still not entirely sure *where* in town, but it's guaranteed to be boring unless I can find some of y'all to hang out with.
I think my dad is lending me one of his cars... if he has any that work.
I don't know where in town because my mom and stepdad live in a one-bedroom place and I'd rather not sleep on a futon in the living room for a month. My dad is renting an apartment off of Beechnut, but he's caring for my grandma at her house right now, so I should have the place to myself. But yes, getting together is a must.

or if you think of anything else fun you want to do you should suggest it and we can gather kids to do it!
are you going to have transportation over break?
how do you not know where in town yet? what are the possibilities?
