Hello everyone! My name is Katie and I'm writing to ask that you please help us in funding our independent, locally filmed horror movie "You Better Watch Out!". "You Better Watch Out!" is currently in production and is expected to finish by around March 2013.

What We Need & What You Get
We, Jay Byrne and Michael Welch, need your help to get this movie made and made right. We are looking mainly for finishing funds since we have most of our movie mapped out already, but that doesn't mean that what we need isn't important. We would love to raise $5000 to help us premiere the film and get it out there to as many festivals and distribution companies as possible. Of course, if we are still filming when this campaign ends, some of this money will go towards special effects and production costs. If we don't meet our $5000 goal, we are still going to finish this movie, so we can guarantee that if you contribute, you will recieve whatever reward your donation tier offered.
The Impact
Your contribution will go a long way to helping us get the movie out there. That is really the second hardest part of low budget filmmaking. Just getting people to see your movie can be tricky and costly. We will distribute the film ourselves for as long as we can and the money you donate will definitely help that process. Pressing DVDs and Blu-rays isn't cheap and we'd like to do it right. You Better Watch Out! is Jay Byrne's second feature horror anthology. He also recently completed another feature length horror anthology called HOMETOWN. Michael Welch starred in and was very instrumental in the production of HOMETOWN.
