That one word describes how productive my day has been ^^;
You SEE! At first when I got up and began to get ready to work, I decided to check on KHR on the off chance it may have been updated early, and then I would have gotten to work, only DA which is also a part of the get through the internet distractions quickly routine reminded me that I still had yet to finish watching HetaOni. Someone took Hetalia and gave it a scary plot (they gave it a plot in general 8D). So I decided to try and watch a bit more than the 20+ minutes I had caught before. By the 6th segment when they start showing BIG plot devices I was hooked. Unfortunately...there's 16 parts all of varying lengths. Some are 20 minutes, others are nearly 40. So I had told myself at first "Only until 9." By 9 I knew that wasn't happening "Okay, let's try 11." 11 rolled around and as I knew I would I came up with a new excuse, only this one wasn't a time. I had decided that since KHR should be updating, that I would watch the show as a distraction until I could read my manga. This kind of plan only works apparently if the manga actually updates -_-. I finally finished around 8 pm. Clearly I got nothing done today (yesterday). I'd like to say I'll make up for it tomorrow (today), but I know I'm likely to still get distracted. I'll try my hardest though! At the very least, I know that there are still no good fanfics out to read so that won't be a problem.
I guess I should explain a bit about HetaOni. It's a rp set up in a similar format to the classic FFs and Pokemon in that you're a pixel character and you battle monsters (THEY'RE EFFING CREEPY!) I don't want to give anything away, but it's filled with angst, no pairings (always nice to go back to every now and then), badass Canada and Italy, and stairs. It's actually a lot of fun to go through though. When you get to essential plot points or just moments of terror, I found myself screeching at the screen. When I knew where the person was meant to go and they were going to every room and staircase but I would get upset, and then I would be thinking over potential survival strategies based on what I know and where I need to get to. I was even able to laugh at myself as old habits refused to die. When it comes to video games, I am an items and money hoarder, so when it came to spending "Heta" on healing items, I cringed a little and then had to remind myself that this was a survival game, and that there's nothing to spend your money on but healing food items anyway.
Either way, the last couple of days have been fairly good. I found a site called zerochan that I can use for lots of pictures that I can't find on DA no matter how hard I look. It's actually high quality stuff that keeps up to date on the series you enter to the search. Then there's HetaOni today, and just in general the internet's been kind which is good for preventing slumps. Can't complain about much as usual. One friend is still trying to pull a serious face on me everytime I hit her back. She has yet to catch onto the Katie law of punishment. How did Amanda put it last year?...Don't hit Katie, she'll just hit back harder and meaner. And a bit I would like to add is that I'll also hit more in general. Unless you are Amy or Allie and have the Cuteness Protection Program working for you, don't bother trying ;D
Can't think of much anymore, it's almost 3 =_= Imma go to sleep now. Ne, Allie, remind me of your airport times again? Sleepy byes now~
