busy...whats new
So its finally Friday. Its seems the week went by quickly, but at the same time, it went by slow. Maybe its because its so rainy up here. That's what makes me miss home a little. I took looking at the stars at night for granted. The sky seems so much bigger back home. Too many cloud over here in Rochester, I guess.
Anyways, life is life. 2 weeks into classes, I kinda had a breakdown over the phone when I called my parents. Not that I was homesick or anything, but that I was so nervous to go to my voice lesson the next day. I feel so inadaquate here. I know I shouldn't, but I do. I've been preparing myself all summer for this: Not being the big fish in the small pond anymore. I not the worst here, I just have to work my way up to the top...again. Thats the hardest thing: Starting over. But its also a blessing. You can reinvent yourself. No one knows who you were. Now I'm just focusing on becoming a better musician. That'll keep me busy...especially with the 12 class I have. lol
