checkin' in to procrastination station
I have found a new favorite source of procrastination. I have been going to IMDB.com and typing in the names of cartoon shows I used to watch when I was a kid and finding out which actors did the characters' voices and then checking to see what other shows they did afterwards.
For example, on the Pebbles and Bamm Bamm show, the voice of Pebbles was done by Sally Struthers, of All in the Family, and later Feed the Children informericals. Bamm Bamm's voice was that of Jay North, who was originally known for playing Dennis on the black and white Dennis the Menace sitcom.
I also learned that Pinky on the Noozles and Angelica on the Rugrats are done by the same actress.
I should really be doing some kind of wireless write-up for class tomorrow and reading the six books I need to critique and/or annotate for Wednesday, but somehow this type of meaningless nonsense is much more fun.
