Kathryn is writing an argumentative paper on the moral and the governmental, and where they perhaps intersect and diverge. We jammed for a while on the rightness or wrongness of gay marriage, concluding that there is little room for doubt--no shit sherlock! Love is love is love between two consenting adults. Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and the rest of the figureheads of the anti-liberal (and therefore anti-anything fun or diverse) movement can all be itchy for the rest of their lives.
