Teacher-In Service Day todayy... Okay, sooo..the weekend- FRIDAY: School and such...Then I went to my friend Katie's house. We spent like an hour trying to pick out a movie at blockbuster and ended up with probably the stupidest horror movie ever called They. Then we went and picked up the best mexican food ever :) She just got a new dog, so it was our job to name it (Zoe)...There were like five other girls there, so yeah, it was pretty wild. Later that night, we were all sitting in her guest bedroom where their computer is, when my friend Ashley and my other friend Kate come running in being all hyper and annoying. Then they both ran to her bathroom to get something out of her bathroom cabinet..and ended up breaking her cabinet door when Katie pushed Ashley onto it...Yeah, I don't know about you..but I'd be super pissed..Luckily, she's got like the coolest parents in the world and when we told them the next morning they were so unaffected by it..they were just like "oh. well it was an accident right? We were going to replace those anyway." and then just went back to their breakfast.. I found out about a month ago, that one of my best friends is clinically depressed. Now, even though she's got medicine for it, I should still kinda watch how I act around her because she gets super sensitive. Well..(being the great and wonderful friend that I am) I sorta put it out of my mind until Friday night...It was like 2:30 and we were all laying around in Katie's room watching tv..and I kinda dozed off..and I wake up and my friend and another girl are like cracking up (very loudly) I groggily ask them what's so funny just to get answers like "well...*laughter*..this guy *laughter*...just too *laughter* funny! *laughter*.." so, i'm just sitting there like a complete idiot..while they are in histarics..and i'm like well..gosh, i want to hear it..i might be really really funny...and while this might have sounded okay in my head...i didn't exactly do well with voicing it..after they calmed down a little, and they STILL hadn't told me what they were laughing about..I was slightly annoyed and so i was like "yeah...right..it's fun to laugh." I wasn't trying to be mean or anything...just still wanted to hear the joke. So, my friend walks out of her room..and I assumed that she went to the bathroom or something. She didn't come back for like ten minutes so me and Katie went to look for her..and she ended up being in her guest bedroom bawling because of my comment...To me..I didn't even think about what I said...but, now I guess I know. SATURDAY: Went to the mall with all of the girls..none of us really had any money..so we bought a camera and went around and took funny pictures (Like we were in a video/cd store and they had cardboard cutouts of actors all over..and on them they had these little signs taht say "I'm for sale" yeah...well we stole those..:) and then we got the ugliest clothes form this one store and did a fashion show until the lady told us to either buy the clothes or leave..she wasn't very nice) Went back to my friend's house..and just lounged around..and then we watched Titanic..I don't know about you..but I saw that movie about 50 times when it first came out..but, every single time I watch that movie, i still get that gut-wrenching feeling...and everytime I watch it..I still hold out for Jack to live..hahaha. SUNDAY: Went to see The Butterfly Effect...Great movie! Highly recommended. Then came home..cleaned a little bit and then went to another movie with 2 of my friends (Peter Pan) we ended up being the only people in the entire movie theater..It was creepy... Okay...super long entry!
