Finally made it to Geneva!
So today I got up nice and early to take Lily to school... and then I came home and showered and took the train to Geneva! It was great, the city is really nice (its a lot different when you are lost and super stressed). I met up with Laura and Susan which was great - it was nice to see some familiar faces! We had lunch and then Laura went back to work, and Susan and I walked around and she gave me a quick tour of Geneva. Geneva is actually pretty small... its very pretty, and its all centred around Lake Geneva. It was raining so it wasn't as nice today, but apparently in June it gets beautiful! I took the train back to Nyon (where the closest train station is) and almost ended up buying a ticket to LYON (oops) and walked around there and waited for the father to be done his meeting (he was driving me to pick Lily up from school). We picked Lily up and drove her back to Nyon for ballet, and then Lily and I came home and went to her friends house. I met her friend's aupair who is from Poland and she was really nice. She invited me out to the local pub in town tonight, but I was super pooped from my day of lots of walking, so I pretty much just want to crawl into bed. I finally have a cell phone now, which is great because I can stay in contact with the family and Laura and Susan. Anyways, this is a pretty short post but I'm super tired... Lily has a half day at school tomorrow so I may go into Geneva tomorrow night, depending on how the day goes. Anyways, I am going to head to bed soon. ttyl!
