W00t! W00t! W00t!
I am officially a Master. My last class was a week ago Thursday and my last assignment was completed and submitted Wednesday.
I interviewed for a job Friday morning and found myself really hoping I would get it. The people were great and they had meaningful answers for my questions. Well, they were so impressed with me and all the wonderful things my references had to say about me that they called yesterday morning to offer me the job! They felt bad calling on a Saturday but were so sure someone else would snatch me up if they didn't call that they didn't dare NOT call. I am officially the newest 7th grade English teacher at Kellogg Middle School in Shoreline, WA. My first paid day is tomorrow and I start with students on the 5th.
Wish me luck getting any sleep in the next two weeks. This morning I woke up after only 3 hours and got started on my lesson plans for the first few weeks of school.
