So overall, I think I've found senior week to be...well, rather lame. I don't think the fact that my allergies are practically killing me and it's a struggle to breathe helps at all. At any rate, I'm looking forward to graduating in just a few short days! I just want to move to the next phase of my life. I'd like to focus in on my subject instead of having to take a bunch of classes about subjects I couldn't give a fuck about just to graduate. I'm also looking forward to being on the same continent as Humphrey! That will be such a treat. I think I'm definitely through with this place. I thought it was going to be hard to leave, but it won't be at all. I mean, I got a wonderful education here, but I'm just done with everything else.
In the world of good news, I got awarded two scholarships yesterday from the University of Nottingham! This is great because it means that I don't have to take out any more loans on top of the thousands upon thousands that I will owe Smith College when I graduate. I think this is also a big relief to Humphrey..I mean it's one thing to have mountains of debt for your education and another thing to have mountains of debt for someone else's education. Hopefully, I will prove to be worth it in the end.
