Strong Words!
Friend Dana shared this post (below) by Stephen Fry. It's strong words that I fear are going to fall on utterly deaf ears. I don't have confidence that the Olympic Committee cares, and I know most governments don't give a damn, either.
I am not gay, but I have gay friends, I have gay readers, and I believe that all people no matter what their race, gender, or sexual identity, should be treated equally.
I just don't understand why some people feel so threatened by a person who is different from them that they feel justified in rape, torture, and murder.
