What is new.
1. Joel is currently driving home from an interview in Crosby. Yay! for the interview. Boo! for the location.
2. 4th of July was a lot of fun. Rosemary had no problem staying up until after 11 and she LOVED the fireworks. She is still asking to see more.
3. It was a very busy weekend, but it was a lot of fun. We celebrated my nephew’s 2nd birthday and got to visit with my brand new baby nephew. Celebrated another nephew’s birthday (from Joel’s side). Went to the beach, visited with neighbors, etc.
4. Listened to a very interesting podcast by Greg Boyd about the rapture.
5. Watched a couple of Harry Potter movies.
6. Etc, etc.
The biggest new thing? Rosemary. This little girl is climbing FAR out of her shell. She is no longer the nervous, timid little girl that I used to know. I sometimes call her “Runaway Rosemary” because I cannot keep her near me. I am seriously thinking about getting a leash for her. It doesn’t matter where we are, what busy location we are in - even if it’s in the water at a crowded beach. The girl is on the prowl, fraternizing with strangers, never looking back. During 4th of July fireworks, I expected she would want to cuddle on my lap and instead she wanted to lay on the blankets with her cousins. This little girl of mine, she is growing up. She sleeps like a champion, eats like a champion, and is totally into doing her own thing.
She has my heart.
