The Start of a New Month
It's been awhile... I know. I told myself that I would try to keep up with this thing more, but life just keeps getting in the way! Also, the fact that my computer had a virus for about 2 months and I just decided to do something about it could have had an impact on my lack of updates! But here we go....
The most exciting news is that in less than a month I'm going to be making the trek to Tempe, Arizona to help Jeremiah move down to school! I'm so excited! I was very hesitant to make a decision at first, but the only thing that was keeping me from going was the lonely drive home. I decided that the pros far outweighed the cons and I'm going!!! I'm excited to see where he'll be for the next two years and to learn what he'll be doing! I'm also excited as hell to be getting out of Clinton for two weeks!!! I haven't been farther from my house than Davenport since August, and I haven't been farther than Chicago in almost two years!!! We'll be driving so I'll get to see lots of new scenery and just have whole new adventures!! I'll be taking lots of pictures and posting them to my facebook, so never fear my friends!! You'll all be along for the ride with me! This will also be a good thing, because sometime this summer I'll probably be making the trek down there by myself, so I'll have some sort of inkling as to what to expect! So yeah... in a nut shell... I'm PUMPED! We leave the 28th of December, but hopefully I'll update more before then.
In other news, my clinical competency exams are tomorow! I'm very nervous, but I think I'll do okay. I just wish that they weren't pass/fail. I can make three mistakes and still pass, but it's still scary!! My friend is going to be my patient, and that'll probably help calm my nerves... but I wish it were over already!! Tomorow I'll be updating again to either say that I continue my journey in nursing, or I'm going to be finding something else to do!!! I'll be fine! Come what may... I'm ready!
I should probably go start the fire. It's freaking cold in here. There's still snow on the ground. Most of it's gone from yesterday, but it'll be back in full force tomorow! I think the weather man said around 3 inches? Hopefully it holds out until tomorow afternoon when I'm done with school... My car is handling the snow beautifully! His name is Beauford... he's very stubborn and I love him! Lol... the other man in my life, my car!!! I'm gonna go and try to accomplish something today. I'll hopefully update soon with good news!!! Tata my loves!
