...time for me to half-heartily try to do NaNoWriMo and forget about it by week two.
Before livejournal reminded me of this sacred month's other duty (as I can not celebrate Beardvember, I plan to uphold Throwember in all its glory. It is second only to Kleptober.) I was actually planning on spending November through January writing a play. This will perhaps become a Maverick, but will mostly be the groundwork for the play writing class I'm taking next semester.
What I fool I am. I build an incredibly easy semester for myself, and marred it by voluntarily taking a 300-level creative writing course. Damn my love of the written word.
Speaking of the written word (kinda), I got a job offer today from a firm that makes CDs and DVDs. It would be a great starting point after I graduate, but considering that I'm part of the *air quote* "digital revolution" it doesn't seem like a very secure long-term plan.
Being prop mistress for Urinetown is kicking my ass. When I held the same position for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum it was "here's a list of 5,000 easy to find things, get them!" For this play my list is only about 50 or so items long, but each one is more impossible to find than the next.
Life is good though, and will be infinitely better when this play closes.
