Note: I go to a Catholic college.
Someone who went to public school before college remarked to me today: "it's interesting that so many non-believers attend La Salle." To which I replied: "Not to me. I went to Catholic school all my life, so I'm more used to hanging out with atheists than Christians."
When I debate with my father, he pulls out this old quote. I think it might be right: "If you want a defender of the faith, send your children to public school. If you want a pagan, send them to Catholic."
When I'm less thirsty and sick, I shall ponder more on the subject.
