It's been a while
So like the heading says it's been a while, but I've been busy with work, and well... you all know how the song goes. I'm writing because I know someone specific should see this. Also I'm writing to celebrate my new icon. for those of you that don't know, I've recently goten into the show Doctor who. For those of you that don't know what doctor who is, I'll give you the short answer, for those of you that don't care skip the next paragraph.
it's a SciFi show about a man (the Doctor) that travels through space and time (although about half the episodes take place in cardith [a major city in England]) on wonderfully strange adventures. The show originally started in the 1950's and spanned until some time in the 1980's (I think). The show was then revived in 2004. This as you may have noticed is a really long time for a show to span with the same character. That is why the creators of the show came up with the idea of re-generating. The Doctor is part of a race of people that can re-generate 12 times, and every time they re-generate they get a new body (neat way to cover for re-casting). At current they are on the tenth incarnation of the doctor.
Before She left for Korea, Karen gave me a number of Doctor Who books on tape (mp3), However, before Karen left I listened to all of them. So on Tuesday morning before I went to work I went out a got myself a Doctor Who book that actually has pages and everything. I'm about half-way through it now. This may not seem like much to anyone else, but I read very very slowly. Also as I sit here writing this I'm house siting for my brother. I discovered much to my simple entertainment that I was able to find some of the 1970's episodes of Doctor Who on his OnDemand. Ok this concludes my dorking announcement. Oh and happy fourth of July.
