location: work (my university), subject: a plastic disaster in the autoclave (someone bumped the temperature up to 130°C, those plastic tubs will only survive the apocalypse and 125°C), date: June 8, 2012
Definition of autoclave from wikipedia: An instrument used to sterilize equipment and supplies by subjecting them to high pressure saturated steam at 121 °C for around 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the load and the contents.
