Work, laundry, the usual
Hi Everybody! So today was a pretty typical Tuesday. I had work and then I went to do some laundry. The nice part was that Caitlin and Christina came with me, and it is much more fun to do laundry with friends. I got a card from the Wellesley Alumnae Office with a picture of Wellesley with lots of snow on it and a handwritten note inside saying that they hoped I was having a good time in London and that they looked forward to seeing me in the fall. It was really sweet and made me appreciate how much Wellesley takes care of us, I haven't heard of any other schools sending abroad students cards. They also sent us little Valentines Day care packages too - so sweet! So I have been very happy because I got the latest Shopaholic book (I can picture my mom rolling her eyes when she reads this) and I made myself wait until I finished Pride and Prejudice to read it. Everyone was giving me a hard time for never having read it and I figured I'm in England, I should read it. I really liked it though it took me awhile to get through. I'm getting through Shopaholic quite quickly though! It's fun to read because it takes place in London and I actually know a lot of the pages she's talking about. I decided I should only read British books while I'm here, it just makes it more fun. I'm off to watch some TV though and go to bed! -Katie
