(no subject)
I was very excited to be furloughed from work today. Basically, that means that they didn't need me to come in, so I had an unexpected free day! Some might use this as an oportunity to catch up on work, or to do something out of the ordinary, or at least do SOMETHING...but no. I spent the day curled up on the couch under a blanket (because it's actually 65 degrees here! fantastic!!!) and read and drank tea and coffee for about eight hours. I really have no regrets on that point ;-)
I also got to play with my new rabbit for awhile today. Yes, I finally got a rabbit. He is a one-year-old lop, and he is ADORABLE. His name is Chesterton (G.K. for short). I think he is finally getting used to me. When I let him out, he spent about fifteen minutes running laps around me, occasionally jumping directly in the air. Very funny. Check that childhood dream off my list :-)
Also, the person who I was rooting for won Top Chef! All in all, a good day.
