Here's the deal:
I am experienced in painting, drawing, photography (film & digital), screen printing, bookarts, graphic design, & jewelry making. I could probably have gotten my major in any of these and have in fact taken at least one course in every fine arts concentration EXCEPT film and sculpture (Being forced to take 3D design does not count as a sculpture class.) I am pretty sure I would suck at sculpture/ceramics but I know I would have rocked film's world.
The point of this post is to assure myself of my talents, although I may not be phenominal at any of these trades I am above average on every one of them except drawing and graphic design.
So I'm designing my own line of jewelry (sloooowly) and I will sell my line on the internet. Mostly necklaces because that is what I'm most interested in right now, maybe earrings too. Let me tell you, I have a fabulous taste in jewelry. So I am excited about it. But first I have to get painting out of the way. Jewelry will be revealed this summer ahhhh! And friends (real life friends) if you like any of it when you see it and want to buy it, you can buy it for the price of the supplies and that's it!
If this works I will be a babysitter, website designer, caricature artist, still working for baristanet.com and a jewelry designer. I will still be poor.
PS This is more or less posted in order to force myself to do this. Usually I come up with great ideas but I lose steam soon after and scrap all my great plans. This time it's going to happen, no turning back.
