yay weekends
It's been a fabulous day and a half.
Tonight David and I went to the 21 and over screening at the Arclight of Something New, a movie I would only see not quite sober. It was pretty good; a little overly romantic for my taste, but that's what the alcohol is for. Then we came back to my place and watched Tu Wong Foo, which actually was surprisingly sweet as well. But as Daivd said afterwards, "I love life" :).
This morning I went to brunch with Andy & Sus and Adam and then shopping at the Grove. I like hanging out with them. They always make me laugh a lot. I should do it more often.
Last night was Diamond Ball and I think I had the most fun that I've had at all my years of ADPi's formal. There were so many awkward people in my life there: a guy that I've slept with who's now dating someone in the house (he almost literally RAN away from me), a guy that I stood up (I avoided running into him) and the guy that took me out on a date this week, who started out leaving his date to come talk to me and then ended up making out with her (don't worry, I only thought it was hilarious). Matt Parker was a fabulous date. He danced with me lots (even to Kelly Clarkson) and didn't mind me having a drink even tho he couldn't. He even gave me some really good advice for a 19 yr old ;). I think I scared him a little divulging all my dirty secrets, but it was a lot of fun. David invited me to the Delt formal, even tho who knows when or where it is yet. Who cares, I'm excited.
So it's been a fun end to a shitty week, but tomorrow it's back to real life...
Oh and Congrats to my roommates who are lucky bitches who now have jobs after college. I know grad school is my next step, but I'm way jealous.
