life will make you craaazy
So, wow. It's been a long time. I saw Dr. Copeland sometime last week (I think?)... and, of course, he brought to my attention the lack of public updates. Well, here you go.
My life has been a little bit too crazy.
First and foremost, I auditioned for Birmingham-Southern, mostly to shut-up Gary... and, well... after going through way more trouble than it should have been to apply, I was accepted... with a $16,000 vocal scholarship. Needless to say, $16,000 from one of the top 10 liberal arts schools in the country is enough to get me there. I'm taking summer classes at UAB, and starting BSC in the fall as a music major (Lord help me) and English minor (which I'm only, like, 2 classes away from having already).
Things with the fam are getting back to norm, too... which is quite wonderful.
I've been going through hell trying to figure out my housing situation, because BSC will require me to live on-campus... just got that figured-out today. I'll be moving soon... and then moving again at the end of the summer. It's enough to make me keep everything packed-up until I buy house 10 years from now. Blegh.
My only comment for the publich on my love-life will be that it is going all too well.
Also, my puppy will need a home for the school year... I'd rather not take her to Vinemont... so, if anyone has an empty back-yard, make use and rent it to me or something. =-D
