This past weekend I went to St. Pete with Christine and Joel to celebrate James's (Joel's friend from Texas) birthday. We got there around close to midnight on Friday night. We met Joel's friends at a place called Bay Walk which had a couple bars and such. It was so damn cold. Where did the coldness come from? And why was I wearing sandals??? Anyway, I don't remember anything else really from that night except that the drink from Wet Willie's got Christine a wee bit tipsy. :)
The next day was party day and after some shopping and eating and stuff we got ready for the keg party for James. Everything was cool until we got in the SUV to head across the street... let me rephrase that, everyone else got in the SUV and I was still not in it and the dude ran over my foot! :( ouch! It was very weird and it hurt but overall I was ok. So we start drinking.. I start with a very very strong Jack and Coke which got me tipsy. Followed it up with a Smirnoff somethin or other and I think I was drunk then, a depressed drunk. So once I got to the point where I felt like nobody liked me I decided it was time to drink more... beer this time. Then I decided I was in a bad mood and drunk, it was time for me to head back to the apartment. As I layed down I thought it would be a good idea to find something else to drink... like a Bloody Mary you ask? Why yes of course! And a couple of swigs of rum or vodka or tequila, not really sure, I was GONE!!!! A couple people came in and kinda made sure I wasn't dead, but I think I was somehow, sure felt like it for a while. Two strangers scooped me off the floor and brought me upstairs and got me straightened out sooner or later. It sucked b/c I saw my bestest friend getting sick and there was nothing I could do b/c I was off in a whole different world... a pretty shitty one, where I was crying and hating myself. Yes yes, it was fun! The night ended sometime, I have no clue when. Then I got up in the morning and decided that sleeping in the car for a while would be warmer and more comfortable. It actually was.
Next day... off to ride go-karts. I'm in the car with Christine and Joel cleaning the yuckiness off my shoes and decided to throw the dirty paper towel out the window. As my hand is still in the window and I'm turning to see where the towel flew to, OUCH! Yes, my hand was stuck in the automatic window. Let me just tell you that that hurts like a bitch! Holy macaroni. Damn the auto windows! That one hurt much worse than the car running over my foot. And my goodness, it made the day much less fun than I had hoped for. Then we went to dinner at Fridays, which was good. We left St. Pete around 9 or somethin, drove about 2 hours and ended up at Denny's for coffee. Had a cappuccino then proceeded to throw up afterwards in the parking lot. I'm still not sure how or why I got sick because it came on sooooooo suddenly. But throwing up is worse than getting your hand caught in an auto window if you ask me and it just put the icing on the stupid crappy cake I had that weekend. Ok, that was a really weird thing to say. Anyway, the weekend had so many odd/strange/freakishly abnormal things in store for me. I never could have imagined. So that was a long story, but I felt that I had to share it.
I've been on a "woe is me" kick lately like my buddy Shanick. It's been kickin my bum too and I hate it. I guess I just need some affection and/or attention sometimes and I ain't gettin no lovin' from nobody.. :( It's hard and it gets to me sometimes. I just want a hug :-\
American Idol boosted my spirits though tonight... except for the truly psycho girl who heard voices talking to her, she was exceptionally creepy!
