I went on a 3 day host scheme camp for 1st years which was really great, a lot better than I was expecting and I made some friends that were what we would define as normal. I saw Zoe Edwards who was acting as the welfare officer and Jess Bernt who was one of the 2nd year hosts. We spent a lot of time at the beach, had a trivia night, which my table won of course, and had a dress up party which was great fun. Now I am not just a lonely 1st year but will go in knowing some lovely people.
Wednesday we had Leah Richo’s farewell from Ritchies dinner at the Chinese place. We have one restaurant in Balnarring and I haven’t been there since I was about 6. Cole came in his uniform so he could go back over to work if the store actually needed a manager. It was a great night, even with Wayne drinking the soy sauce, Jonno attempting to eat the rose from the vase and Gabrielle’s snorting fit…
I am working all weekend then am looking forward to my little 5 day holiday in country isolation. Smithy is coming with me so I am sure it will be good. We were up til about… quarter to 2 last night planning meals and stuff.
