OOHH look! i'm updating!
So, yeah, I'm here, going insane but it could be worse, I could be home or at Terminix. I just feel sometimes in all my classes that i'm so way over my head. The course material we're discussion i don't understand. Does everyone feel that way? or only biology majors?
Other than that things are doing well. My quasi-relationship with stupid is going alot better. I mean he made me cry tears of joy last night, that's gotta be something. I haven't felt like that in a very long time. It was bittersweet, it was that ache that I couldn't put my finger on and I just cried and cried.
So, other than me being in over my head, the only classes I really don't understand are cell biology (even though i love it!) and natural history of vertebrates...uhhh i don't love it. But electives are electives. I honestly could give a shit about grad school. I just want to graduate already. I was actually toying with the idea of just going back to nursing school after I graduate. I might as well, stupid said that the only time he saw me happiest was when i was in my little white lab coat taking care of everyone. But I digress.
I just got out of cell lab. That was interesting. I learned how to replicate DNA and put it in a gel matrix so you could see it and distinguish what it was. I'm sorry, I find that hella cool!
I'm working back at University Advancement...whoo the fuck who! i hated that job, I should have just applied to the bookstore when stupid told me to. ohh well.
Other than that, everything is going good. My roomates are pretty cool. I love my classes (well what I can understand of them) and i'm practicing good time management.
I still miss my rents and I miss my sister. Can you believe it? Since mom and dad got back together they are so much easier to get along with. I love spending time with them. Things have gotten so great, my mom quit her job ( go her!) and they are selling the condo, so we're looking for a new house, unfortuantely by the beltway, but somewhere where i don't have to walk down the street and get cat-called by many greasy men! EWW!!
well its friday, so i'm going to go celebrate. Have a fun and safe weekend everyone. OHH and I wanted to thank everyone that showed up to my birthday thing, it was nutz but fun! :)
