'bout time
So...I guess it's about time for an update. What have I been up to? The same, 5'3". :) Yeah, it's Monday and I'm kinda goofy. But it's better than being cranky. Blame the hot chocolate and powdered donuts on my desk for that :)
Let's see, December wasn't a very good month as far as family stuff goes and I'm tired of thinking about it so let's just leave it at that ok? Friends...well, a good bit of them went home after finals, a few stuck around longer (thanks, I loved getting to spend time with you, especially that one unexpected night) and then there were all the ones who go to school elsewhere and came home.
Best of all would be my Sarah Bear who was here the whole time :) We had so much fun hanging out over Christmas. I got to help her and Laura decorate the most beautiful tree ever (it's still on my phone's background!), go downtown for Sam's birthday (that random guy wouldn't know sluts if he saw them bcs we were simply gorgeous women!!), slumber parties with cinnamon rolls and movies, and of course, that therapeutic girl talk that is magnified in its bliss by knowing it's family time too! (Really, Sarah, I love spending time with you!!)
New Year's was fun at Kim and Andrea's. My first "adult" party where you dress up cocktail attire...and then change into sweats and play twister! :) Gotta love it. Twister, Clue, Scrabble, fireworks, poppers, lots of pictures (still wanna see Kim's!!) more food and drinks than necessary, movies til 7am, bowl games as soon as we woke up...we had fun! :) Wonder what the Super Bowl party will be like...
January has been a good mix of work and play. Good time spent with good friends doing "nothing" is the best. Been doing a lot of thinking about things I thought I already knew the answers to and have decided I was wrong. If I really needed confirmation, I've gotten it from Sarah (world's best cousin!), Caleb (one of the best roommates ever!), and some awesome friends (Jen, Brock...) Funny when all your friends tell you the same thing. And it's great if they're right...gonna be awful if ALL of them are wrong. :(
