cuddlebunny...beautiful...darling

Well, I got such good responses on my last entry asking for dance opportunities, I thought, what the hey, let's try for 2 for 2.

I need a cuddlebunny. Not a rabbit. Not a stuffed animal. Nothing like that. More like a straight member of the male species to curl up with for movies or nothingness. One that is fun to do nothing with. One whose presence cheers me. One who cares about me because HE wants to; not because his family or friends told him to, not because he is somehow required to do so, but because I genuinely mean something to him. One who annoys me to death but still provokes me to enjoy his company despite that. One who does what I need, not necessarily what I want. One to stay up all night with. One who protects me, even from myself. One that's mine (I do not want to share).

I have an infatuation with two words and I don't know why those two. So I dictionary.com'ed them to see if that would help me understand.

beautiful: (adj) delighting the senses or exciting intellectual or emotional admiration; aesthetically pleasing; highly enjoyable; having qualities that delight the senses, especialy sight; excellent; wonderful

darling: (n) a dearly beloved person; one that is greatly liked or preferred; a favorite (adj) dearly beloved; regarded with special favor; favorite; charming or amusing; dearly loved [beloved, dear]; a specail loved one [favorite, favourite, pet, dearie, deary, ducky]; an "only one"

Beautiful strikes my fancy in songs recently. "Something Beutiful" Natalie Grant; "Beautiful One" Jeremy Camp; "You Called Me Beautiful" Ginny Owens.... There's just something about how the word is said that I love.

Darling is a personal favorite of mine to be called. If you know me enough to be reading this, you know I'll answer to anything, even non-flattering names and whistles, but I absolutely melt when called darling. I don't hear it often which could lead to it's appeal. "babe" and "baby" are names I prefer not to respond to...but there are certain people who get away with it anyways. But "darling"...it amazes me how I react to it.

"Katie" comes from the Greek "katharos" meaning "pure".
"Amanda" comes from the Latin meaning "a lady to be loved".

I want to be a lady. Not a girl, chick, woman, but a LADY. There is a certain dignity that comes with that. I hope to possess that one day. I want to stand out with a quiet dignity. Now there's the problem. I need to learn to be quiet. I've wanted to learn that for two years now. It's a lot harder than it sounds. At least for me it is.

So....what I want from you, my wonderful audience of nosy readers, advice on how to become the beautiful quiet darling lady. Oh yeah, and volunteers of available cuddlebunnies. :)
