So Here We Are
Hmmmmm
So this lj was created for me by the fabulous MsGenevieve, who finally spat the dummy with me leaving her anonymous comments and took some decisive action about the matter! However, given that I already had a blog and that I really had nothing earth-shattering to contribute to my various fandoms (I don’t write fanfic and am never at the forefront of discovering info about the shows!) I have basically done nothing with it except comment on other people’s ljs, create a very amusing flist and amass a collection of shiny pretty icons.
However, a certain person, who shall remain anonymous but who knows who she is (yes - I am glaring!) has been nagging me to start writing on this blog. And since she created some of the most fabulous icons I am lucky enough to own, I think she has a point….
Just because I am posting here now, doesn’t mean that I have anything earth-shattering to say, so I will probably start by just cross posting from my other blog and see how things go - I might wind up being even more random here than over there (hmmm - is such a thing possible?) or this might be the place to drone on about Prison Break, LFN and Placebo, which allows me to spare my blog readers the pain of wading through those entries! I might just see how things progress…
So to set the scene - I should explain that I am an Australian aid worker who is currently based in Uganda (as of four days ago!!!) Most of my blog entries tend to be about my adventures in the various countries I am posted to (before this it was Afghanistan and the Philippines) and the joys and frustrations of going about my daily work (plus a few insights into local culture) - has probably been done a million times, but never with my truly bizarre spin on things…
Now - if the internet connection here ever restores, I can post this!
